[watching the light drain from touya's eyes is almost euphoric, almost makes up for the aggravation he's dealt with. not entirely. but somewhat.
it's about that time that hawks begins to fight to push up, and he has to now scuffle with the former hero. even without his wings, hawks knew well enough of how to fight and take care of himself. almost a shame to lose a hero like this, but endeavor is positive the young former hero was better on his back than a battle.
he utilizes dabi's unconscious body to toss at hawks, who seems all too eager to catch him, leaving the blond wide open. he attacks, hawks retaliates the best he probably can. it goes on like this, with his furniture being destroyed in the process. eventually though, endeavor has enough and uses his flames to weaken hawks completely, who pathetically holds tight to dabi. his son would make it. endeavor didn't doubt that.
any attempt hawks makes of talking him down go ignored, as does pleading and begging. he knows what he wants out of all of this, and he'll get it.
eventually, he can see the heat becomes too much for hawks, who is down on his knees, weak. endeavor can see dabi's body behind the fallen hero, still being protected. he snorts and takes the opportunity given to him to knock the youth out, leaving endeavor with two lifeless bodies in a mess of a room.
he would need to hire a private cleaning service before fuyumi becomes aware of the mess. for now though, he lifts up both bodies, intending on getting what he desired out of the both of them.
