[ the only thing that saves dabi sometimes is that he can tell all the different sounds. the footsteps, the creaks in the floorboards. he can hear endeavor's voice off in the distance, but he's still scared.

he almost looks at keigo when he says he wishes he had told him sooner. he has nothing left to say to that. he has no anger left. no fight, or disgust to toward anyone else but himself. no strength to say that he tried to tell keigo over and over again.

and now the former hero is stuck here with him too. no matter what keigo says, dabi knows what landed him here. ]
