[keigo's body is still tensed up from the position he was just in. it's not one he ever expected to repeat. not in this way. it's certainly frightened him. but the warmth of the villain beside him is calming him down. he hates feeling helpless like he was.
it may have been reckless of him to use all his feathers up the night before. it's not the first time he's done it though, and he's never felt this weak without them.
beside them, twice salutes, and keigo is sure he says something over the regrouping, but the hero is already trying to pull dabi down the hall. he believes twice can take care of himself and get everyone to safety. however, he and dabi needed to leave. they were both exhausted and spent. they needed to find a spot to rest and lick their wounds clean.
keigo doesn't know of many exits, but he did explore the one he takes dabi in. him and the villain had used it prior before, and it's thankfully close by. he really didn't want to cross paths with skeptic or re-destro. or anyone. he would use his last feather to protect the both of them though.
if dabi wasn't so easy to make sick through motion, he would use that same feather to carry the villain. but, this is also fine too. the feeling of protection keeps his thoughts in order.]
