[ he sets his bags down on the curb, sitting down next to it before he starts rifling through them again, pulling out two beers, cracking them open. he hands one over to hawks, looking up at him before the other man sits down.
he's not sure why he had the idea to do this tonight. maybe he was just lonely. maybe it's cause they hadn't seen each other since the day before yesterday. not... that that's such a long time, but still. ]
