[ he smirks, heading off once hawks flies up into the air. it's a beautiful sight and a part of him wants to go right up there with him, but... baby steps. maybe he'll ask hawks to take him on a low flight sometimes. nothing crazy like last time.
for now though, he just wants to get upstairs the normal way, sneaking in the back like he always does. he's quick to get upstairs this time, letting himself in once he finds the door unlocked. once inside he kicks his boots off, then goes to find hawks, heading to the bedroom because he knows the birdie is probably changing out of that stupid hero getup. ]
