I didn't know he was with you for that long.

[He doesn't know a lot of things, actually. But he supposes he's trying to change that, asking Shigaraki things. Just the small things first, because he knows the bigger things will have bigger questions turned around to him as well and in the past he's always seen that as something to be used against him.

But they haven't really used things against each other. It's a strange thing.]

[He would roll his eyes if he knew what Shigaraki was thinking. Yeah, all that stuff still involves doing the same thing.]

Why do you think he gets away with teasing me more than you do?

[It's cause he has that dad status that can't be easily erased. But he rolls his eyes at the logic puzzle nonsense and finally moves to sit up.]

[Dabi smirks. He knows how much he gets away with teasing Shigaraki either way. At least they don't try to kill each other over it anymore.]

[He mutters, then yawns and stretches himself out, letting his shirt ride up half way, before just leaving his limbs spread out everywhere.]

I don't know if this is gonna work out, Shigs. You're such a morning person.

Well I don't try to kill him now, do I?

[There's still times where Shigaraki tries to kill Dabi. But it's entirely debatable as to whether or not he's actually trying to kill Dabi. Maybe it's for show or maybe it's just habit.]

Don't be smart, you know what I mean. [But ugh.] I don't sleep, remember? I'll get something light and lay back down with you if that's what you really want Dabi.

[Not anymore, anyway. But even if Shigaraki does threaten it, Dabi knows there's not much weight behind it, same as when he threatens to do the same. But he knows that there's always a chance they could turn on each other for some reason or another. Nothing is set, especially not with people like them.

He sort of hopes they might get to the point where they know for certain that something like that wont happen, but... it's a hard thing to trust.]

Right, sure. You don't sleep. You just snore while you're awake.

[Dabi sighs and stretches some more, then sits up, rubbing at his eye with his middle finger.]

I'm up, I'm up.

I don't snore.

[He says with certainty before he suddenly becomes uncertain. Does he snore? Well. It doesn't really matter to him since it doesn't bother him. It's still unsightly to think about.]

If you need more time just say so, I don't mind. But I am fucking hungry.

How can you be so sure? Has anyone ever told you that you don't snore?

[He's completely teasing, of course. Shigaraki is quiet when he sleeps. Too quiet, sometimes. But at least he does sleep when Dabi is here.]

I need coffee and a cigarette first, but we can grab some food. My dreams made me hungry.

[Better quiet than tossing and turning and waking up in a cold sweat.]

Can't you just smoke on the way there? [He's standing up now from the bed. He's gonna have to visit his room real quick to grab his clothes since they're in Dabi's room.] You can also just get a coffee when we get food.

Because it's something people tell each other when they sleep together, I guess. Has anyone else ever slept with you? Like, I know now sexually, but... any other fucking way?

[Dabi knows the feeling. Sometimes he'd almost light the room on fire, like the first time they slept in the same bed. Luckily Shigaraki doesn't know about that.]

[But he just sits there, scratching at his stomach.]

Toss me my pack from my jacket pocket. Try not to disintegrate it this time.

[He's never slept with anyone else sexually or otherwise. Dabi's the first person to break a lot of Shigaraki's first times. But he does comply and carefully fishes out the packet for Dabi, tossing it carelessly into the other's lap.]

I'm going to go get dressed, alright? [He doesn't want to hang around the smell mostly.]

[He smirks, catching the pack of cigarettes, pulling one out along with the lighter. He likes that he's responsible for a lot of Shigaraki's first times. At first it was definitely more of a control thing, but now? It's something else entirely. Not that he's going to get all weird and sentimental about it, but... it means something in the same way they've figured out that they really do like this thing between them.]

You can get dressed right here. I like watching you.

[Come on, Shigs. Dabi always smells like ash and burning.]

[Shigaraki doesn't really buy into the weight of first times. But it does weigh him down a bit, especially when Dabi just knows what to do. Like instincts. Shigaraki is basically a fish out of water in everything they've done. Floundering and flustered.]

My clothes are in my room. I came over here like this, remember?

I guess you'll never know.

[It's less about the weight of it, and probably more about the possessiveness of it for Dabi. Again, he's not sentimental at all, but having something like that, it makes a person feel better. Maybe it's just selfish, or maybe it does actually mean more than he wants it to? Who knows.]

You should just bring some with you next time.

What? Like keep a pair of spare clothes here? That's stupid.

[Actually it's brilliant. They should have done that a long time ago with all the blowjobs and handjobs they've been exchanging.]

I'll be back quick, I promise.

[He leaves Dabi's room to go get dressed in his own. True to his word, he is quick about getting dressed and comes back to Dabi's room a little while later in the usual go-out gear. A black hoodie, black jeans, and those red shoes. Whisps of blue hair stick out in small curls underneath the hood of the hoodie.]

[ Dabi bristles a bit, blowing his smoke toward Shigaraki. ]

If it's so stupid, bring me back the clothes I left in your room, then. Wouldn't want to invade your space.

[Asshole.

He waves Shigaraki off, then turns onto his stomach and continues smoking his cigarette while he lounges around. No point in getting up unless he really has to. Dabi isn't even close to surprised with the outfit Shigaraki comes back with. He's like the poster boy for some kind of trendy goth emo kid. Dabi snorts, an amused look on his face.]

How did I ever get so lucky.

[He also has a small bag at his side which he carefully tucks away safely into Dabi's closet. Looks like he did bring a change of clothes for future sleepovers. It's definitely a change of his own clothes with how he placed them into an actual bag. ]

What do you mean? [Ever the summer child. Shigaraki turns to look at Dabi, fanning the air in front of his face. You'd think he'd gotten used to the smell of smoke since Dabi is practically smoke and ash himself.]

[ Dabi is actually surprised by the bag. He follows Shigaraki's every move as he goes to tuck the bag into his closet. Not so stupid after all, huh.]

You're....

[Dabi starts, then takes a long drag of his cigarette before putting it out. Look at him, being all considerate and shit.]

I don't know. I hate you.

[Wow. Lame]

I'm going to hate you if we don't get food soon.

[Do you hear that small stomach grumble? Your boyfriend is hungry Dabi, feed him or he's going to go feed himself.]

[ Yeah, he hears the stomach grumble. He joins right along with it, with his own grumbling as he gets up, yanking his sleep clothes off so he can get dressed. ]

We're not having fucking chicken nuggets for breakfast so don't even think about it.

We're definitely having chicken nuggets for breakfast. You've taken long enough to get ready.

[If you deny him these chicken nuggets Dabi, you better prepare for hell.]

It took me five minutes, asshole. Fine, we'll get your stupid chicken nuggets.

[Look, he's not ready for hell this morning. Or a tantrum. And honestly he kind of wants them too. He did dream about them after all. He grabs his coat and shoves his feet into his boots, then ruffles up his hair and heads for the door.]

I'm not spoiled. I waited long enough for you to get ready.

[Realistically he waited all of fifteen minutes if you count the time it took Shigaraki to get ready. But he moves towards the door.]

C'mon. Let's go.

[ He does a quick check of the hall to make sure no one is around to pester them. The last thing he needs is Toga all up in their shit, being nosy about why Shigaraki is coming out of his room this early. Unlike Shigaraki, apparently, she knows not to wake him up this early. ]

Where are we going?

We're getting chicken nuggets.

[Shigaraki doesn't care. He's fully dressed this time so if anyone asks he'd say it was strictly business. When you're the boss, no one really questions where you go early or late. Usually.]

Or did you forget already?

I know we're getting chicken nuggets, asshole. Where are we getting them?

[Apparently it's too early for Shigaraki as well.

Shigaraki has been the one to care the most when it comes to keeping up appearances, making sure nothing leaves their rooms. He should know that everyone questions them all the time, especially when it's far too early or especially late. Being the boss doesn't keep subordinates from being curious. Especially the gossipy ones they're surrounded by.]

There's not like, one big chicken nugget store specifically for chicken nuggets, you know.
