[keigo is desperate. he can’t lose dabi again. but he also can’t force the other to stay with him. it’s unforgivable, what he’s done. and maybe a part of him knows he still holds resentment himself. after all, keigo had lost more than dabi on that fateful day.

fear immediately comes to golden eyes when dabi stops and turns around. it’s the way the once villain presents himself, as if he could burn keigo right then and there. his blood runs cold, breath hitches as panic almost forms.

but with no heat, heat he remembers craving to feel before fearing it, keigo is able to calm his growing anxiety. dabi’s expression changes too, and keigo finds it relieving. he doesn’t let go of dabi. a part of him was afraid that the white haired man would try to leave again.
