[ he hears the flap of wings before he sees keigo, so he gives up on wiping away his tears because he can't stop anyway. he's so angry though. he feels like he's always angry lately. ]

[he snaps, but then he feels bad about that too, so he moves away and sits down by the base of the tree, covering his head with his hands as he draws his knees up.]
[the snap has keigo tensing, foot taking a step back. it’s not touya’s fault for the reaction either. there’s just some things keigo can’t block from his childhood just yet.
his body comes to relax though, as touya goes and sits down. he follows, taking a seat in front of his friend.]
[ he doesn't look at keigo at all. he just keeps his head down and his fingers digging into his hair. ]
A hero... yeah, right. Is that really what they're teaching us to be? And then what? We get to work with pro-heroes like my dad?? That's not being a hero.

[he yells, then breaks down in tears again, dropping his head back down. he can feel his heart squeezing in his chest so tight, and the heat building up in his body so fast he can hardly control it. the only thing that helps is that keigo is holding on to him right now and he desperately doesn't want to burn his friend.]

a feeling settles in the pit of his stomach. he can feel his wings trembling.]

[ he can't help but let his anger show. but he knows it's going to be the truth. they won't just get to be free after this. he's starting to realize that's not how any of this works.
heroes or not, he's still pretty sure whoever is at this program was pretty much given to the people here to use as they please.
