[ when he startles awake to an empty bed, hawks can't help the cold panic that stabs through him. but then he hears sounds from downstairs, and he groans as he drags himself up to drape over the banister, seeing the top of dabi's fluffy hair. ]

[ he yawns as he trudges to the stairs, wandering down them so he can flop against dabi's back, arms winding comfortably around his waist. ]

I've been sleeping so much I think my eyes are gonna melt out of my skull.

[ dabi looks up when keigo calls out to him, a bit startled by the sudden sound. he waits for the other man to come down the stairs before answering. ]

Your place needed a little cleaning, so...

[ he raises an eyebrow as keigo practically melts against his back, giving him an amused look. ]

Ah... [ he looks around without letting go, and winces ] Yeah, I guess it's gotten a bit messy... You cleaned? [ because things are definitely looking better than what he remembers. ] Sorry, sorry, you didn't have to... But, um. Thanks.

Just picked up some stuff... started a load'a laundry, put some shit away in your cupboards and makin' a list'a shit to fill your fridge.

[ Dabi pats at Keigo's hand, then just rests it there. ]

[ he pushes his head against dabi's back a little, smushing his face against him ]

[ he snickers softly, swaying back against keigo a little. ]

Gonna go the store to get the shit on my list, too. Then I can feed ya somethin' better than repurposed takeout.

[ he blinks slowly, the words taking a half-beat to sink in properly. ]

You sure? I could get anything you want delivered, but... Y'know, if you need to get out too...

[ he walks with him over to the counter, grabbing the pad he had written things down on. ]

[ hawks waves a hand, grinning at the "attached bird" comment. ]

[ man, he needs to look into this. except without a set address and the whole being a villain thing, probably not. ]

Yep. Like ordering food, but less...food. I use it when I need stuff but I don't wanna or can't go out.

[ he lights up, hooking his chin over dabi's shoulder ]

[He turns his head to kiss at Keigo's cheek.]

It's our anniversary food. [ he's just being a little shit, but also kind of... not. ] Should we order in fried chicken too?

[ Dabi laughs, bending his body to lay half of it on the counter as if he's dying. ]

Fried chicken... a big fuckin' bucket of it. Can't believe ya brought me chicken.

[ Dabi straightens himself out, looking over his shoulder at Keigo. ]

[ he taps at the list in his hand. ]

This is good. I dunno what else I'd want. Maybe some beer. Ya know I ain't picky. But I'll cook ya dinner tomorrow night so pick a dish ya want.

[ he remembers telling keigo he wouldn't cook for him at one point. now he can't imagine not doing it. ]

[ Dabi snickers, but he heads over to the couch dragging Keigo with him, going slow so they don't trip on each other. ]
