Dabi checks his phone constantly like an idiot, just to make sure, but then he goes about packing up some of his shit he might need, medical supplies and staples, and a bunch of his shirts.
He tries to sleep that night but it's impossible, so he gets up and figures he'll get a head start on food shopping to gather the supplies he'll need.]
[it's a long, long, evening. there's no resting at all. the shower keeps his body cooled down, but his emotions are running rampant on their own. needy. he feels so, so needy.
eventually, after rolling around his bed does nothing to help, keigo begins the process of gathering what he feels is appropriate to cuddle with. the nest starts to grow, but it lacks the scent of the villain. the few pieces of dabi's clothes he does have helps a bit, just not to the comfortable level that he desires.
his own clothes become too constricting, so keigo undresses and puts on the shirt he stole from dabi previously. the back is already cut out for his wings. not that it really matters, because as he comes to snuggle into the nest, the feathers begin to part slowly off the base of his wing. it's uncomfortable, prickling his sensitive body with each plume that's removed. on top of that, his body is feeling clammy and cold, yet wearing pants was too uncomfortable.
it's a bit...different too, feeling such need with the first half of his molt. it's usually just irritating and painful until the feathers are off. but, he's so hot on the inside, and cold on the outside. keigo ends up squeezing his thighs together, trying to fight off the urge to touch.
the hero only gets through until early morning before he can't help himself, and reaches for his phone. fingers quickly glide over to his lover's name, and he calls dabi. maybe...maybe just hearing his villain will help to soothe him.]
[Dabi is finally able to settle himself down by morning, sleeping for a few good hours before hi phone starts to buzz.
He's annoyed as hell until he sees who it is, and he wants to attempt not coming off as eager to hear from Hawks, but it's pointless as he answers immediately.]
[dabi's voice is like music to his ears. keigo tries to bite back the whine, but can't help that he still releases a needy sound. it's so pleasant though. so nice. hearing dabi settles the throbbing in his chest and the ache that grows between his legs.]

[he whispers quietly, tilting his head to rub his cheek against the blanket he cuddles into.]
[ Dabi pushes himself to sit up, rubbing carefully at one of his eyes. He frowns when he hears Hawks' voice and that needy sound. Shit. ]

[ dabi even contacts ujiko this time so he can get a warp gate over to hawks' area. not too close cause he doesn't want anyone knowing, but close enough where he can veer off to a store and pick up the perishables he didn't want to stash away at league headquarters. luckily he doesn't get any shit at the store. they barely even look at him even as he buys a carton of cigarettes on top of it all. he has a feeling he's going to need it.
he realizes this is the first time he's gone grocery shopping and even paid for all of it, in a very long time.
he probably looks ridiculous is his full on emo disguise, two handfuls of bags in his hands and a bag over his shoulder. it makes sneaking a little harder, but he manages well enough, sneaking into Hawk's building as usual. when he gets upstairs, all he can do is kick at the door to let hawks know he's here. hawks is probably used to that, though. it's what he always used to do when he first came around this way. ]
[and he'll give it his best to wait. it wasn't as if he had much of a choice. he's gone through plenty of molts before. yet, never at this degree. he's never decided and picked someone to be welcomed into his nest or sit out a molt with him.
he knew it'd be a hard time to go through the moment he first brought up the offer. if dabi had laughed it off or refused, keigo isn't sure if sitting it on his own or using a few toys would be enough to get him through. there's...also the possibility of dabi leaving too. not that he believes the villain would. dabi even gave his word to be with keigo the entire time.
as dabi shops, the hero is able to rest a little. he finds comfort in the scent coming off the shirt, with his wings curled a little around him and the nest. they occasionally flap to release a few feathers, but nothing more than that.
it's as peaceful as it'll get.
the door kicking snaps him from his rest though. not that he minds, because he knows it can be only one person. well. technically, his handlers could show up if they had a death wish. but, he quickly assumes it to be dabi. stretching, keigo heads to the door, trying to shake off some more feathers, leaving a trail of red plume behind him.
after quickly confirming the mass of dark from the peephole, keigo opens the door wide.
and tries his absolutely damnest to not leap on the villain standing right there, with his hands occupied with groceries. instead, keigo forces himself to focus by using his feathers to take the bags, even if it's hard to maintain his quirk when in this manner.]

[he offers an apologetic smile, because he does blame his instincts here to have ruined the original plan they had.]

when it opens, there hawks is, in a t-shirt he must've stolen from him just like hawks said he did, his wings spread out. he almost expects hawks to jump on him right away and he braces himself for it, but hawks has enough control to take the bags so he can come inside. he makes sure to lock the door, then starts undressing out of his disguise before handing hawks the bags with his shirts and blanket. ]
S'okay. I was gonna come back today anyways, right? I wanted to see ya too. Here's my stuff.
[hawks is only able to get the bags placed down in the kitchen when he hears the rustling behind him of his lover changing. immediately, his eyes glaze over in lust, hard to resist, and he almost comes to take dabi, but, then the bag is handed to him, and it snaps him from his meal.
while the lust still remains, his need to get more of dabi inside his nest takes over, and keigo smiles again.]

sitting beside it, he starts to unzip the bag, quickly gathering everything inside of it to begin strategically placing them within his nest. it probably comes off looking like an extreme pillow fort, between the pillows, blankets, and shirts all wrapped around furniture pieces. there's a large opening though, where keigo works. the base is a circular mattress, and a few blankets. and, now, dabi's items.]
It's not...a great nest. I'm pretty bad at making them.
[given how his handlers frowned upon the instincts. unfortunately for them, it wasn't a mood he could just 'shut off'.
keigo only gets about halfway through the nest-making before he takes dabi's blanket and wraps it around his shoulder and curls a little into his nest. the constriction on his wings make them flap from irritation, but the hero can't be bothered.]
Yeah, no problem. Those are pretty much all the shirt I got, so... might have to borrow some'a yours.
[ since he's staying here for a while. he sets the other bag down that has more of his medical supplies and drugs, glad to see that the bag of his clothes seems to satisfy hawks for now so he can go put the food away in the kitchen.
he can't take his eyes off of hawks, though. dabi can see how different he is in this state already. more natural, more... something different. dabi likes it.
once he puts the stuff away he comes to join hawks in the kitchen, watching him build a nest there. he's never seen anything like this before ]

another moan leaves so easily out of his mouth at the continued praise. he's such a sucker for them already. and now? it's as if he's floating on a cloud without his wings. speaking of, they're flapping behind him, hitting the floor from their own form of agitation and wanting. it only causes more feathers to fly off and litter around him and his nest.
keigo finds himself digging his fingernails into the nest, nodding his head despite that dabi can't see him.]
Okay. I'll wait for you.
[he whispers back, forcing his wings to shake off a few more feathers to relieve a little more of the aches.]

[ dabi even contacts ujiko this time so he can get a warp gate over to hawks' area. not too close cause he doesn't want anyone knowing, but close enough where he can veer off to a store and pick up the perishables he didn't want to stash away at league headquarters. luckily he doesn't get any shit at the store. they barely even look at him even as he buys a carton of cigarettes on top of it all. he has a feeling he's going to need it.
he realizes this is the first time he's gone grocery shopping and even paid for all of it, in a very long time.
he probably looks ridiculous is his full on emo disguise, two handfuls of bags in his hands and a bag over his shoulder. it makes sneaking a little harder, but he manages well enough, sneaking into Hawk's building as usual. when he gets upstairs, all he can do is kick at the door to let hawks know he's here. hawks is probably used to that, though. it's what he always used to do when he first came around this way. ]

Date: 2021-07-31 08:40 pm (UTC)[and he'll give it his best to wait. it wasn't as if he had much of a choice. he's gone through plenty of molts before. yet, never at this degree. he's never decided and picked someone to be welcomed into his nest or sit out a molt with him.
he knew it'd be a hard time to go through the moment he first brought up the offer. if dabi had laughed it off or refused, keigo isn't sure if sitting it on his own or using a few toys would be enough to get him through. there's...also the possibility of dabi leaving too. not that he believes the villain would. dabi even gave his word to be with keigo the entire time.
as dabi shops, the hero is able to rest a little. he finds comfort in the scent coming off the shirt, with his wings curled a little around him and the nest. they occasionally flap to release a few feathers, but nothing more than that.
it's as peaceful as it'll get.
the door kicking snaps him from his rest though. not that he minds, because he knows it can be only one person. well. technically, his handlers could show up if they had a death wish. but, he quickly assumes it to be dabi. stretching, keigo heads to the door, trying to shake off some more feathers, leaving a trail of red plume behind him.
after quickly confirming the mass of dark from the peephole, keigo opens the door wide.
and tries his absolutely damnest to not leap on the villain standing right there, with his hands occupied with groceries. instead, keigo forces himself to focus by using his feathers to take the bags, even if it's hard to maintain his quirk when in this manner.]
T..Thank you. Sorry I couldn't wait it out any longer.
[he offers an apologetic smile, because he does blame his instincts here to have ruined the original plan they had.]

Date: 2021-07-31 08:47 pm (UTC)when it opens, there hawks is, in a t-shirt he must've stolen from him just like hawks said he did, his wings spread out. he almost expects hawks to jump on him right away and he braces himself for it, but hawks has enough control to take the bags so he can come inside. he makes sure to lock the door, then starts undressing out of his disguise before handing hawks the bags with his shirts and blanket. ]

[he can't stop with the gratitude. he's just...incredibly happy and grateful for what the villain is willing to do with him. turning on his heel, keigo heads back to the living room, where he's pushed away the furniture to make room for his nest.
sitting beside it, he starts to unzip the bag, quickly gathering everything inside of it to begin strategically placing them within his nest. it probably comes off looking like an extreme pillow fort, between the pillows, blankets, and shirts all wrapped around furniture pieces. there's a large opening though, where keigo works. the base is a circular mattress, and a few blankets. and, now, dabi's items.]
It's not...a great nest. I'm pretty bad at making them.
[given how his handlers frowned upon the instincts. unfortunately for them, it wasn't a mood he could just 'shut off'.
keigo only gets about halfway through the nest-making before he takes dabi's blanket and wraps it around his shoulder and curls a little into his nest. the constriction on his wings make them flap from irritation, but the hero can't be bothered.]

Date: 2021-07-31 09:14 pm (UTC)[ since he's staying here for a while. he sets the other bag down that has more of his medical supplies and drugs, glad to see that the bag of his clothes seems to satisfy hawks for now so he can go put the food away in the kitchen.
he can't take his eyes off of hawks, though. dabi can see how different he is in this state already. more natural, more... something different. dabi likes it.
once he puts the stuff away he comes to join hawks in the kitchen, watching him build a nest there. he's never seen anything like this before ]
Looks pretty good to me.
[ dabi comes over some more, but he's not sure how much of this nest he's allowed to get into, so he just leans against the pushed over couch, watching. hawks looks... cute. he doesn't look like he could tear someone apart in this state, but dabi knows better. ]
