[Shigaraki rolls his eyes at Dabi's words but he pushes himself up off the ground, headed over to the laundry hamper to pull out a hoodie. With his new gloves he's able to pull it on quickly. All he needs now is to pull on his red sneakers.]

Fine, let's go.

[ He has to stop at his room to grab his jacket, but he just stands there waiting for Shigaraki instead, shoving his hands in his pants pockets as he watches the other man. ]

Why do you wear those ridiculous red shoes?

[He doesn't know why he asks. He shouldn't care. But lately he's been more inclined to just ask Shigaraki random shit. It's not like Shigaraki is going to be secretive about shoes, is he? Then again, withholding information is just another game they play... but this topic isn't as serious.]

[He stands up straight with his sneakers on. It's just a simple fashion choice, really. The sneakers were something his Master had givenhim since a young boy and, the fondness for the color on his feet grew from there. Maybe that's exactly why he looks like a middle schooler.]

[He mutters before heading out of Shigaraki's room to go to his, setting the camera down, tucking the photo away and grabbing his coat, which is pretty fucking cool, fuck you Shigaraki.]

Why not more piercings then? [He follows after Dabi, listening to him chat.]

I like them. They match my outfit. [Easy to match shit when all you wear is black. But that's beside the point. From his answer it almost sounds like Dabi's getting a two-for-one. Do the hands match his outfit? Certainly. So do his shoes. ]

[And he has more than enough metal everywhere else. He's not really sure where else he can get pierced since his body is basically one big piercing.]

[Dabi is back at his door before Shigaraki can follow him into the room and he shuts it, locking it, then nudges Shigaraki along. If anyone asks where they're going, all Dabi says is out. It's perfectly normal for them to go out to get food together, isn't it?]

What's with the secrecy?

[It's almost like Dabi is trying to hide something in his room. The picture he can get but... does Dabi really think Shigaraki would try to destroy the photo? Because that's grounds for Dabi to have two photos instead of one.

Getting food together isn't exactly normal but Shigaraki had met one-on-one with several people prior to... this. So maybe they don't think much of it. Oh boss is gonna ream Dabi. Or Dabi gets another special task. Maybe.]

There's no secrecy. You've already seen everything I've got.

[But his room is still his personal space, and Dabi feels like if they start settling into his room more and more each time, he won't have that. Everything they've ever done has been in Shigaraki's room... aside from that last encounter. And Dabi's bed is too small. He doesn't want Shigaraki to get any ideas.

Basically, it's his nerves. The ones he doesn't want to admit he has.]

[He still suspects something but doesn't push for more information. Rolling his eyes and keeping silent for their trip to ~~McDonalds~~ some burger joint. He thinks about what he's got left to do and what he needs to do. He even gives their current relationship some thought and where they can go from there. Not in terms of making it official or anything but... why this and why now?

Once there, Shigaraki ends up getting a plain burger and fries. He doesn't particularly care for a drink or anything on his burger. It sounds boring but that's Shigaraki's order for you. He turns to Dabi, waiting for the other to order.]

[ Dabi tries not to think of anything at all. All he does is glance over at Shigaraki as they walk along, trying to stay in the shadows. Shigaraki said he made contacts with vendors or whatever the fuck, so he expects the other man to take them where they need to go.

He tries really hard not to think about their current... whatever this is. Relationship? It seems too weird to even think of the world. it's just. reciprocal getting off. passing the time. easing the boredom.

The burger joint they end up is not too bad. Dabi can smell the grease, but that's fine. It's what he wanted, after all. He's not sure why he expected Shigaraki to get something more adventurous. He's like a child, after all, going with what he knows and not venturing too far outside the box. So typical. Sometimes Dabi can't believe he's their boss.

When he orders, he gets all the good. A burger with cheese, onion rings, spinach dip, all packed on top of each other with a bun on top. It's messy, and he loves it. ]

We're trading half way through. You're not getting away with that fucking weak ass burger, Shigsy.

No. What you got sounds disgusting.

[If he wanted a fucking burger that someone just threw everything onto it, he'd get that burger Dabi. Let him eat his plain burger with fries without hassle. Anyways the food is already paid for thanks to a special card Shigaraki flashes at the cashier. All they have to do is wait for their bag of grease and they can get out of here before being spotted.]

We're eating back home.

[It takes them a little while to get their burgers because someone had to get an obnoxious burger. But when they finally come out, Shigaraki grabs his bag like a normal person for once in his life. Thank you Dabi for those gloves.]

Yeah, and I bet you thought me sucking your dick was disgusting too, until you tried it.

[He counters, a smirk on his face. He's not even trying to keep his voice down. He does keep a vigilant eye out though, making sure they're not spotted while having fun in the process.]

Yeah, I know. You're not big on enjoying the moment. No one's going to spot us here, you know.

[Dabi doesn't mind waiting. He sits on one of the stools at a side table, and spins back and forth a little, trying to grab Shigaraki with his legs. He's not making a scene at all, just being normal. Whatever the fuck that is.]

[Shigaraki steps to the side, glaring at Dabi. He actually gets grabbed when Dabi swings in the opposite direction and he makes grumbles, trying his best not to react.]

Yeah and I'd prefer to stay hidden. Ugh.

[Who's the child? Dabi or Shigaraki. Hard to tell at this point.]

What are you, scared?

[Dabi smirks as he grabs Shigaraki with his legs and uses them to tug the other man closer.]

We're not doing anything villainous, creep. We're just eating.

I'm not scared. [Just a little.] We don't exactly blend in either.

[They've got major scarring that literally anyone can see and it's enough to identify them if reported to the police. Shigaraki especially has had his face in the news. Although it's always with those hands of his so they might not realize the guy without a hand on his face is the same guy.]

[He swats at Dabi's legs.]

[The guy making the burgers looks almost as disgruntled as they do. Besides, he's really into making their burgers.]

[This is like a role reversal here. Back at the hideout, Dabi was always trying to escape being close to Shigaraki. In public? Shigaraki's trying to escape the encroaching closeness.]

[Dabi says with a soft snort, tilting his head to look at Shigaraki's face. Does Shigaraki really hate being out in public this much? Or does he really actually hate Dabi, and only wants to fuck around behind closed doors? Dabi shouldn't care. He really doesn't. But he's curious.]

[Well. That's not entirely true. Shigaraki loves being in public. But only when he's certain he has an easy get away and is causing total mayhem on public property. He just hates the vulnerability it gives, and the on-the-grounds approach to society.]

I hate looking at how happy and mindless everyone is in this society.

[ Well this is good. More things about Shigaraki that he can tuck away. Maybe it's part of their game, maybe it isn't, but apparently learning things about each other seems to be a thing they seek. ]

That's why we're going to fix it. We'll make them realize how wrong they are.

[He loosens his hold on Shigaraki when he gets close enough. It's true, there's only so much he can take either.]

[Shigaraki pulls away completely, putting a healthy amount of space between the two since Dabi didn't keep him there forever.]

[ Dabi lets him pull away, leaning back on his hands. Is it a dumb question? He didn't think so. Right now he's just trying to imagine at what point Shigaraki was happy. He wouldn't have asked it if it didn't seem like such a goddamn mystery.

Dabi shrugs, glancing over at the cook working on their burgers. ]

I'm sure there's one time you've been happy.

[For Shigaraki he's been happy causing the disaster at USJ. He'd been more than happy to piss off Stain by being 'loud' at Hosu. He was even pleased with the pleasure Dabi had given him on a few occasions. But... he was never really happy in the traditional sense of the word. Almost all his happy moments were fleeting, ruined by heroes or by the ever persistent dominance pull that he and Dabi had going on.]
