Diligently he pulls out a rolled up mattress, kicking it to the side before he pulls out a smaller one. The smaller one he kicks towards Dabi, tossing a blanket onto it. Oddly enough, Shigaraki doesn't pull out a blanket for himself as he unrolls the mattress.]

You're still staying here until the chair is cleaned and the door is fixed, Dabi.

Shy. Hm, yeah, that sounds exactly like me.

[Sarcasm drips from his voice and he pulls himself together while finding utter amusement in the way Shigarki looks at his chair with disgust. He's so easy -- but Dabi won't call him out for it again. They've done enough tonight. ]

Are you using the chair again tonight? I doubt it. I'll clean it tomorrow.

[at least it's not a straight out NO. Which is definitely something. He's still lounging in the chair when Shigaraki gets up, but it's true, he isn't nervous anymore (not scared, shigsy, there's a difference). He catches the sock and sighs, mildly wiping at the mess he left, despite what he said.

but he also eyes the way Shigaraki rolls his mattress out and then kicks one his way. As if he's staying. As if he'd ever fucking entertain the notion that he should stay somewhere after getting off.

It's fucking disgusting.

And yet, he pushes off the chair and grabs the blanket, looking down at the mattress next to Shigaraki's.]

I'm not fixing the door.

[he says as he sits down on the mattress, eying the other man.]

Suppose that means I'll have to fucking stay. Creep.

I might use it if I can't sleep.

[He kicks his shoes off, along with his pants. They've already seen each other's cocks so he's not at all shy about undressing in front of the other. His shirt comes off next, revealing some pretty nasty scratches and scars that have long since healed. He sits down on his own mattress, laying down awkwardly. Sleeping is always such a hassle with his quirk.]

You'll pay for breaking the door somehow, Dabi.

[He turns on his side, careful not to completely touch his mattress with his fingers as he stares long and hard at Dabi.]

If you can't sleep, that just means you haven't tired yourself out enough.

[Whether it's with work, or planning, or... whatever the fuck they're doing together. Dabi feels tired and sated. he could probably sleep easy after coming like that and spending so much energy on someone else. But with how delicately Shigaraki moves, he has a feeling it's not the same for the other. Dabi doesn't have to worry about destroying every single thing around him with a single touch.

It would seem sad that Shigaraki can't touch anything completely. It would be sad, if Dabi cared.

Dabi stays how he is. Shirt on, pants on, as Shigaraki undresses. His gaze falls to the many scars and scratches, but he says nothing. It doesn't matter, anyway. It's not like he cares. The only reason Shigaraki cares so much about his own scares is because he wants to use it against him.]

I'm sure you'll make me pay.

[he snorts, then kicks his shoes off as well and makes a good show of how many things he can fully touch as he lays down, crossing his arms behind the back of his head.]

Being tired doesn't mean you can sleep because I'm plenty tired.

[Even when he's tired, it's hard for Shigaraki to sleep. It's like his body recognizes he wants to sleep but his mind keeps him occupied all hours of the night. Thinking about plans to expand and his Master's last words to him. He's still pretty upset about that outcome and feels responsible for having done in his Master like that. All because he wanted to recruit a prolific student to the league.

He doesn't need Dabi's pity, or anyone's for that matter, regarding his quirk. Doesn't care about his own scars either because no one can use them against him except to say he's unorganized and unfit to lead people.

Still... he's envious that other people can touch so easily without caution when they needed to be careful.]

Don't patronize me, Dabi.

[He turns back onto his back, resting his hands across his lap with fingers laced together and thumbs jutted out. His body quivers a little, getting used to the cool air without a blanket.

Yeah. Shigaraki was learning, little by little. For now? He was going to try his damnest to sleep.]

How do you even manage without touching anything?

[He's curious and it's nagging at him. There's no way Shigaraki has that much control in sleep. It's a wonder he hasn't destroyed himself yet. He hopes Shigaraki isn't the type to move around a lot once he does get to sleep, because Dabi would prefer not to die that way in his sleep.

Now it's his turn to stare at Shigaraki while the other man shifts to his back, shivering. Shigaraki is thin and boney, far too pale, making those scars stand out even more. Dabi has the urge to reach out and run his fingers along the raised skin, but he pushes the urge down, keeping his hands behind his head. ]

If you want the blanket, take the damn blanket. I always run hot when I sleep anyway.

[He kicks it over, mostly because he just wants to stop looking at the other man's body. It's irritating and distracting. He wants to ask questions but he knows he won't get answers because he won't give any himself. He wants to tell Shigaraki that he can leave whenever he wants to, but then why is he choosing to stay? It's better to leave that one alone.]

As long as no one sees, right?

I used to have gloves but it's taking a long time for Giran to get me new ones.

[He lost his old ones after they lost their former hideout. Shigaraki hated using them but they were necessary if he ever wanted to sleep. Why he didn't just keep them around on his person was another story.]

I'll just disintegrate the blanket, keep it.

[It's why he stripped down to nothing but his boxers. He doesn't move around in his sleep, surprisingly, but he's still being cautious.]

If anyone asks, you were fixing a door.

You should disintegrate a piece of his clothing every day he doesn't bring them to you. That would get him moving.

[He's still mourning the loss of his own jacket, thank you very much. But gloves seem like an easier thing to get a hold of.]

[It's an amusing thought, but hey, it could work. He doubts Shigaraki would ever let anyone tie him up, though. Then again, Dabi figured he wouldn't get down on his knees either yet here they are.]

[Shigaraki turns his head to look at Dabi, eyes narrowed. No. He'd probably never let anyone tie him up. Not willingly of course. Too vulnerable and too submissive of a position. But he's got to admit the idea would probably work if he was willing to let it work. He's not sure what pisses him off more; the fact that it's a good idea coming from Dabi or that Dabi probably would like to see him unable to get out so easily.]

[An unlikely excuse. But it makes sense. If everyone else in the league could see this as an easy ticket to get out of responsibilities or incur favors from Shigaraki... it'd be a nightmare to deal with.]

[Not that he's offering to do so. But he could if he had to. He could do better than any of the rest of these idiots. They're in a tricky situation now, sure, but they just have to find ways around it.]

Figuring Shigaraki out isn't too hard. Dabi has been watching him for long enough. At first, just to catch him making mistakes so he could taunt the other man, but now its about getting under his skin in different ways. Shigaraki is lucky, as far as he's concerned. Dabi is very fucking attentive. ]

[It's not a yes or no from Shigaraki, but Dabi already knows it's a yes.

He scoffs at the following suggestion,
turning on his side to look at the other man. ]

That doesn't mean you have to go to the other extreme.

[The thing is, Shigaraki is slowly learning things about Dabi. Things he never would have bothered to know if it weren't for this thing they have going on. He isn't quite sure what to call it. Friends with benefits? They're not exactly friends... and other terms just imply that they're pretty close.

Dabi getting the gloves isn't at all surprising. He audibly scoffs at the other to mask his feelings.]

Eager aren't you? [Like he isn't eager himself.] It's not an extreme. Some members need a guiding hand before they take on bigger tasks by themselves. You can complain about it in the morning.

[Dabi doesn't really think about what Shigaraki could be learning about him aside from the one, small tidbit about not wanting to be touched. He doesn't think it's enough for anyone to figure out anything more about him.

Whatever this thing is between them, he doesn't have a name for it either and he's perfectly content to leave it at that]

[It's always better when Shigaraki squirms. It'll be interesting to see how this goes and how he'll react to it all. It'll be a new experience for Dabi as well.]

Hm. Suppose I do.

[He stretches himself out, then mockingly blows a kiss to Shigaraki before he turns completely to sleep on his side, back facing the other man. Normally he wouldn't turn his back to anyone, but he knows Shigaraki will keep his hands to himself.]

[It takes a while for Shigaraki to sleep. He was tired but he felt awake laying down like this. Plus he had a lot on his mind still, like organizing everyone and getting new supplies since they'd been chased out of their old headquarters. Then there was also this thing with Dabi- how he'd seemingly gotten addicted to the pleasures the man had to offer. Truthfully he'd come to like it because it did take his mind off of things. He still hated the way Dabi tried to one up him, and lord victories over him. But then wasn't he the same way?

Eventually he's able to fall sleep but only in short bursts. Nothing unusual, even without his gloves.]

[It doesn't take Dabi long to fall asleep at all. He leaves his worries and issues for a new day.

But when he does wake, it's with a start, blue flames flying out of his hand because he forgets where he is for a second and it's always safer to be on the defensive.

The flame lights up the room and then dies down when he recognizes it.

Shit.

On the off chance that Shigaraki didn't wake up from that, he glances over. ]

[Luckily for Dabi, Shigaraki didn't see the flame or wake up from it. But when Dabi turns to look over at the other man, he sees an empty mattress. Shigaraki isn't there. Late to bed and early to rise is unfortunately his way of life.

But he's not completely gone either. The distant sound of water running indicates he's in the shower. Not for long though because the water stops shortly after Dabi looks at the empty mattress.

Out walks Shigaraki in the nude, dripping wet.]
