[He threatens, because he isn't going to get labeled needy no matter how many times Shigaraki says it. He doesn't need this at all. Of course it might be different now that they've got an actual thing going. He really doesn't want to have to find someone else. Shigaraki, as much as he hates to admit it, is good for this. [Shigaraki looks away, staring off into the distance. His fingers around his wrist gently rub at the raw skin. This would be a challenge; he's not exactly experienced in sex or handling issues of intimacy. He had his own issues that weren't easily solved thanks to his quirk.]

But it'll be hard not knowing what's causing that irritable tic of yours.

[ Dabi is curious as to what Shigaraki will come up with. He probably would have tried to do it regardless of a reward system, but this definitely makes things more interesting and even though he's scoffing about it to Shigaraki's face, he has a feeling it might work.

It would be good for him, as much he hates it. It's what he wanted and somehow, Shigaraki figured it out. Heh. He's not as irritated about it as he thought he would be, now that it isn't being rubbed in his face. ]

[You give this man an inch, he'll try to take a mile. Shigaraki doesn't bother looking back at Dabi so there's a bit of a carefree air to the question and he's not exactly expecting an answer anyways. Dabi's good at avoiding answers and skirting around the topic.]

[That's the only answer he gives, because he knows Shigaraki will just use anything else against him. That's what they do to each other all the time. ]

[Which might not be the answer Shigaraki is looking for, but Dabi is going to evade for as long as humanly possible. If Shigaraki is waiting for him to cave, he's going to have to wait a long time.]

[Dabi narrows his eyes, tempted to shove Shigaraki off the damn couch. Instead, he gets up himself, going over to his mattress- a regular one on the floor, instead of a rolled up one from the closet- and grabs a pack of cigarettes from under his pillow, sitting down there instead. He doesn't want Shigaraki to get any ideas to prove his point, and this conversation is making him want a cigarette more than having an orgasm did.]

I didn't say I wouldn't work with a reward system. I said find something better to reward me with, if you think you're so damn smart. Anyway, there's no reason for you to touch me gently, is there?

[He blows the smoke from his cigarette in Shigaraki's direction, letting his legs hang off the edge of the mattress, crossing them at the ankle. This is an irritating conversation, but he's trying to stay relaxed.

The thing about hurting Dabi is, if he wants it, he wouldn't use his fire quirk against it. Maybe if Shigaraki got him mad, but even then, he wouldn't throw a tantrum the way Shigaraki does.]

Would you really have the patience to pick them out? I doubt it.

[The smoke doesn't bother him one bit. He's dealt with worse vices and has his own- namely alcohol and whatever this 'boredom' thing has become.]

[Shigaraki shifts on the couch, laying down as he continues to talk. He's still relaxed but his hand starts to scratch at his neck- only to stop because of the bruise swelling from Dabi's sucking.]

[ This thing that they have really is a worse vice than smoking. It's more dangerous and a hell of a lot more hazardous to their health. But neither of them wants to stop, it seems. Even when they protest, they just keep going on with it. ]

[After laying on the couch for a bit, he moves to stand up again, heading over to the chair with his precious hand. He grabs it carefully before heading over to the door.]

Guess we're back to square one then. [He pauses at the door.] Can't promise I'll have a solution tomorrow but I'll try to think of something that won't scare you.

[Dabi's eyes follow Shigaraki as he stands, grabbing the hand and goes to leave. This has been the worst part about everything. Dabi kind of wants to tell him to stay. It's maddening.

He jams his cigarette out against the floor and stands, heading over to the door as well, then leans against it before Shigaraki can open it and leave. He eyes the other man, then crosses his arms.]

What about something that scares you? That would be fair, wouldn't it? We trade.

[He backs off a little, glaring at the other for blocking his exit.]

Nothing scares me, Dabi.

[That's the biggest lie he's ever convinced anyone of. There are plenty of things that scare him. Namely that hand he calls father- if something were to happen to it. But... that's not a fair trade nor is it ever something Shigaraki would offer up for Dabi just to be able to touch him.]

[Dabi smiles crookedly, leaning in a little just like Shigaraki did to him on the couch. Trying to pick him apart, or get in his head. They're both the same thing really, and they're both so eager to do it to each other. ]

That's complete bullshit and you know it.

[He does glance down at the hand Shigaraki holds so dear, but he knows that won't work. He's not stupid. But he does know, and he wants Shigaraki to be sure that he knows. ]

A picture. For each compromising position you're in. On your back, on your knees, your hands tied, whatever. I get a picture and you get to touch me. I wont even show anyone. That can be my reward.

[It's this constant back and forth cat and mouse game that pisses Shigaraki off. He understands why they do it but... it's frustrating. Dabi's gaze on the hand isn't unnoticed either, and he glowers at the other for even thinking about that possibility.]

[ Dabi hasn't grown frustrated with it yet. It doesn't bother him, because nine out of ten times, he's the one who ends up getting the upper hand. It's hard to get frustrated in that case. For Shigaraki though, he gets it. He only smiles wider at the glower. ]

What I said was that you should come up with a better one. But we can go with yours if you want. Degenerative shit, you called it, right? I don't really see the difference here.

[He forcibly breathes through his nose, trying to remain calm.]

For every fifteen minutes I get to touch you nonstop, you can have one picture of your choice. If you can't last fifteen minutes, you don't get your picture. Of course if you last thirty minutes nonstop, maybe I'll consider giving you three

[And they're going to be taken on a polaroid. Shigaraki isn't letting Dabi carry around that shit on his phone... a polaroid isn't any better but god damn at least there's no risk in accidentally sending it out to everyone. He thinks the time is fair given that one of their little sexual mishaps usually times around ten minutes. Fifteen might be an overkill but... Dabi's gotta learn.]

I'll let you have the first picture if you can last ten minutes. I'm generous like that.

[ In seems like a very long amount of time. Irritatingly long, but Dabi won't argue it. He knows better than that and doesn't want Shigaraki to accuse him of complaining again, or being too pathetic to even be touched for fifteen minutes. The thing about Dabi getting the upper hand more often is that he picks his battles and doesn't give as much ammunition as Shigaraki does.

Plus, this is what Dabi wants. The faster he can deal with it the better. He's gone on like this for long enough.

And of course, polaroids. Dabi wouldn't want anything less. He's already thinking of where he's going to grab one of those cameras from and where he'll stash the pictures once they're taken. ]

[A bit of an overkill but... Dabi has everything to gain from this. The only thing Shigaraki gets is the thrill of making Dabi uncomfortable but... even that shouldn't last long if this little therapy ends up working out.

Also, Shigaraki has backed off from the door, settling back down on the chair that he'd been knocked out of earlier. Dabi wins in silently getting him to stay.]

[He says like it's the most obvious thing in the world, like some snotty, self entitled kid. Well, he's allowed too, isn't he? Maybe Shigaraki is rubbing off on him far too much.

When he moves back and sits, Dabi's glad he didn't even have to ask. Saves him one less comment about how needy he must be. He doesn't need this. It's just more entertaining this way. Boredom and entertainment. Their two codewords now.

[He slumps in the chair because it is fair. There really is no arguing it when he can basically destroy all the photos if Dabi goes one photo above what he's allowed.]
