he almost goes to head towards his room, but he can tell hawks is trying to show them something. he squints but he can't see, and he grabs at the phone again, putting it closer to his face to try again. he's about this close to burning this whole place down, too.]

[the villain reads over the message, and trusting the hero, nods his head. he honestly trusted ujiko, but if dabi and hawks are wary of him, then twice would be the best body guard for his friends.
he salutes in acknowledgement, gripping a little tighter to dabi, fully intending on dragging the other villain along.]

[hawks looks worried for a brief second before writing another message, one shown only to twice. he reads it and nods, taking back dabi’s phone and pocketing it.]
Are you sure? Is that safe?
[hawks nods his head, offering a small smile and steps back.
following an order on the message, twice turns and lifts up dabi’s body, tossing the villain over his shoulder. he quickly sends a thumbs up to hawks before starting to walk away, heading to ujiko.]
Please bare with this a little longer, Dabi. We’re going to get you patched up. Doctor Twice will take care of everything.
[ Dabi can't read the message yet again and he's starting to reach his limit. they shouldn't have come here, but they had to. Hawks needs help and he needs his memory back fast... if that's even going to happen. as for his sight... he's trying not to think about that too hard, because he knows what his flames are doing to him.
maybe his eyesight is just the next thing to go. he just didn't expect for it to happen so soon.
most of all he just wants to know what happened and what hawks isn't telling him. it doesn't feel like they have much time, and maybe they came back to the wrong place... but maybe that was hawks' intention from the start. he doesn't want to believe that though. not after everything. ]

[he says as he tries to push away from Jin to get back to Hawks. they really need to talk. and while he can't quite see everything that's going on, he sees hawks showing his phone to jin, and then his phone disappearing into the other villain's pocket, and he tenses up hard, looking between the two of them.]

[and then he's been hauled up and over jin's shoulder, and he very nearly hisses like a feral cat, his body heating up. that's as far as it goes though. he can't produce his flames so he just punches at Jin's back]

[twice hates that he has to do this to his friend, but hawks' message was important. and twice trusted him. he trusted all his friends. and hawks has earned a spot in his heart. he was going to do as the hero asked without question.
and dabi did look pretty bad. hawks did too. he wished they'd both would get some help. but, hawks stayed back, and twice starts to carry his fellow villain down the hall.
momentarily, there's some heat, but it doesn't last long. dabi struggles though, attacking uselessly at his back. he pats the villain's thighs to try and comfort him.]
It'll be okay, Dabi! Let's get you healed up now! Just trust us. We're going to ruin you!
[he hums, turning from hall to hall, leading them closer to ujiko. a part of him is worried about hawks, but he has to do this. for dabi, as hawks had said in the message.]
I won't let anything bad happen to you. Just hang on. We're almost there.
[twice doesn’t detour from his objective, only holds tighter until dabi stops struggling. he’ll come to understand.
at least, twice hopes it all works out. hawks doesn’t have his wings and he’s heading on his own.

You set his building on fire, killing the people inside of it. They showed a video of you running with him, saying you kidnapped him. Then, you set fire to three more buildings south of there, killing more people. The ones who escaped said Hawks saved them, but only about ten people were saved.
[twice isn’t sure whether he believes it though. just didn’t seem dabi’s tactic. plus, hawks was on their side, so why kidnap him??]

[stepping forward, he braces his hands on dabi's shoulders in a strong squeeze. if..if the villain fights him on it, he'll just carry him to ujiko. he can have one of the others hunt for hawks, because he promised to not leave dabi unattended.]
You're coming with me, to Ujiko. Please. Let me ask Mr. C. to grab Hawks, okay? Just, stay here with us. We can work it out.
[if heroes really were coming, they needed to wake up shigaraki. they needed a plan!! they can't do it without dabi! his burns and eyes needed to be looked at.]

[he ushers dabi with a light shove, desperately hoping he won't need to carry him again. he doesn't want to fight with his friends.]

[if it gets dabi to get some help, twice would agree to anything. he doesn't find the words to be insulting, just glad to have dabi walking towards the doctor. he does try to steer the other villain away from the walls though, worried he may crash into them due to his poor eyesight.
with his free hand, twice follows the order, texting mister compress to capture hawks and lock him up, until the hero is ready to talk to dabi.
at least this would keep dabi from running off too quickly without a plan.]

[with a few more corners, they finally reach the doctor's office. twice knocks, and when given the proceed to enter, he opens the door, pressing gently to dabi's shoulders to lead him inside.]
[ for once, dabi agrees with all of Jin's personalities. it really fucking sucks, but he doesn't know what else to do. he feels stuck and that's the worst thing of all. if he has more information maybe he can figure this out, but now he's flying blind. pretty literally.

just as the doctor comes to press to the front of dabi, lifting up his shirt in amusement, eager finger touching over the scars and new burns, twice comes closer, standing close to dabi. he eyes the doctor warily, like hawks asked of him. he never noticed how much interested the doctor was to his friend. how long has this been going on?
worriedly, he looks to dabi. is it too much? should he pull the doctor back?
the doctor makes an offhanded comment that he'll check out the hero next, but obviously needed to assist dabi first. he also says slyly that he needs dabi to fully undress for him to see the extent of his burns.]
[Dabi realizes now how stupid he's been to let himself get so distracted by anything else other than the goal he's had. He's supposed to be in charge while Shigaraki's out of it and instead he's been fucking around a whole lot with Hawks.
He has a job to do here and he's been shit at it. He wonders again if that was Hawks' plan all along.
Having Ujiko flit around him when he can't see so well is even more unnerving and he's thankful for once that Jin is here. He can feel those hands over the fresh burns and he winces inwardly, not want to show his discomfort. That's not his style.]

it’s a practical chaotic mess watching the doctor go back and forth, grabbing what he needs, and starting the process of cleansing out dabi’s eyes. he makes offhand comments how pretty dabi’s eyes are, how maybe one day he can add them to his collection.
twice stands over his friend, eying every move of the doctor. he wrinkles his nose as the doctor even says how he wishes he could make a nomu from dabi.]
[ he's kinda glad it's not hawks in here watching ujiko do this. who knows how this would go. there's a reason dabi hasn't killed the freak doctor just yet. they need him far too much, even if he doesn't like this shit.
he hates how touchy-feely the old man is. he already hates doctors for everything they ignored when he was a child, and now this is a whole new added level of discomfort. the worst part is, the doctor really knows what he's doing.
dabi reluctantly lays down so he can get check out some more, but he glares hard at all the comments until his eyes are being checked. he tells ujiko to shut the hell up, but it's mostly muttered under his breath. he hopes the cleans will help, and it does a very little bit, but he has a feeling he damaged something because of the heat of his flames. hopefully it's not permanent and it'll just take some time to heal. ]

[dabi grits out, because just the very thought of that sends chills down his spine. he's seen those creatures in their oversized test tubes. he'd rather be dead.]

[the doctor comes to laugh at dabi’s reaction, but at least he’s not going too far with his ministrations. a small comment of dabi being a beautiful nomu come up, but then the doctor finishes his work with dabi’s eyes. “you need to rest them. stop staining them for now. you burnt them pretty badly. we’ll give it some time.” he says about the villain’s eyes before continuing.
the doctor perks up at dabi’s admittance and starts to comb through the hair like earlier.
“no damage on the outside. i’m interested to test if your quirk worked against your body’s defiance to heat and fried your brain. your body is working against your quirk. it’s rare to be in this position. you’re a beautiful specimen.”
the doctor hums, brushing some of dabi’s hair out of the way of the villain’s face. “maybe consider giving me a sample of your dna so i can research into you.”
and as he talks, the feather on dabi’s person moves hard and urgent, the tip sharp.]
[ rest his eyes. right. as if he has time for that in all this madness. he certainly isn't going to rest here though. he'd never close his eyes around this man.
he glares and tries to lean out of the doctor's touch, glaring at him some more. it's hard to rest his eyes with all this glaring. he tenses when the doctor goes into his quirk damaging his body. he knows that's what's happening, but he's reluctant to let the doctor delve deep into it. maybe he can help him, but at what cost? especially when ujiko calls him a specimen. ]

[he feels the feather in his pocket move and he tenses up hard, shoving his hand into his pocket to feel around for it. it's hawks, and dabi quickly slides off the table, trying to slide out from between it and ujiko.]
Nah, I ain't given you my DNA. Gonna go check on Hawks, why don't ya come with me? I think he's hangin' with Compress next door.
[he looks to Jin for confirmation, his sight a little clearer than before after getting washed out, but not by much.]
[the doctor only chuckles at dabi’s reaction, but doesn’t seem to dare do it again. he is hungrily looking over the villain though while allowing him to slip away.
twice nods his head at dabi while coming close to offer his hand if the other need it. the doctor was packing up a to-go bag, offering a small tube to dabi. “for your burns. now, next door?”
twice is about to take lead, digging his phone out of his pocket to confirm that mister c. did in fact follow the order that dabi gave, but he comes to see several missed calls and several text messages. quickly, he reads them, until stopping at the doorway.]
Re-Destro has captured and locked Hawks up in the cells in the basement, according to Mister C. We’re not allowed to see him. Re-Destro is citing that since we can no longer vouch for Hawks, he is to be enslaved until further notice. Also said you’re not allowed to see him either, Dabi.
[the feather only pulls more frantically, shaking in dabi’s pocket.]
[ dabi takes the stuff from the doctor, looking it over before shoving it into his pockets. he'll trust that much, at least. ]

[where they should have gone in the first place. hell, hawks should have come here with them right away. dabi would have felt more confident with what was going on if hawks had stayed with him, but maybe that wasn't the plan.
when jin stops them, reading the message, dabi's anger flares immediately.]

[twice frets over the message, unsure how dabi would react, and maybe he should have expected the anger. he’s upset to! hawks was still a friend, even if dabi was also apprehensive of the hero.
he follows after his friend, hearing the doctor coming along as well. hopefully hawks was okay. he can’t imagine that they would hurt the hero. not without their permission. hawks was their responsibility.

[ hawks should have stayed with them. stupid bird, making his own plans when it's always gonna be dabi bailing him out in the end anyway. dabi is beyond angry, especially at the orders to keep him out. no one keeps him out of anything, especially not here.
dabi may not be able to see very well, but it's almost as if the feather guides him along. jin is there to lead him along as well and dabi's once again kinda grateful for it. maybe he'll even tell that to jin later, if they get out of this mess. ]

momentarily, there's some heat, but it doesn't last long. dabi struggles though, attacking uselessly at his back. he pats the villain's thighs to try and comfort him.]

[he hums, turning from hall to hall, leading them closer to ujiko. a part of him is worried about hawks, but he has to do this. for dabi, as hawks had said in the message.]

just as the doctor comes to press to the front of dabi, lifting up his shirt in amusement, eager finger touching over the scars and new burns, twice comes closer, standing close to dabi. he eyes the doctor warily, like hawks asked of him. he never noticed how much interested the doctor was to his friend. how long has this been going on?
worriedly, he looks to dabi. is it too much? should he pull the doctor back?
the doctor makes an offhanded comment that he'll check out the hero next, but obviously needed to assist dabi first. he also says slyly that he needs dabi to fully undress for him to see the extent of his burns.]
