[immediately, hawks grabs twice by the arm and shakes his head, looking determined, yet still silent. so...did dabi not set the building on fire?? twice tilts his head, about to ask, but then the hero turns to look at dabi, grabbing him by the wrist.
he pulls, trying to stop them both. twice does so, trusting the hero enough. he begins to motion with his hand, none of which twice understands. then, the hero points at dabi’s pockets, urgently wanting whatever was in there.]

[twice frets from the buildup of worry. throughout the night, they expected a raid of heroes, even warned re-destro of it, but the man had done his best to calm them. it was about that time he requested to be notified if and when hawks arrived.
he had seemed pleasant to twice, but toga had insisted something was up and to wait until dabi got back.
although, now, twice is lost more than ever. didn’t dabi remember setting the entire building on fire?? what about the other crimes he committed the night prior?? twice is getting more curious and worried by the second.
something is definitely wrong with dabi’s memory. hawks isn’t speaking much, but the villain is quietly noticing the extent of the burns on the hero. something happened. something serious.
hawks takes dabi’s phone though, and the hero types fast before turning the screen to face them. there’s no audio, and after reading the message, twice can understand why.]
Dabi’s room is probably being bugged with a mic and camera. Skeptic told me that Dabi ordered a camera and mic to be placed on me. I agreed to a tracking device instead. I told Dabi about it last night, and destroyed it.

he almost goes to head towards his room, but he can tell hawks is trying to show them something. he squints but he can't see, and he grabs at the phone again, putting it closer to his face to try again. he's about this close to burning this whole place down, too.]

he salutes in acknowledgement, gripping a little tighter to dabi, fully intending on dragging the other villain along.]

[hawks looks worried for a brief second before writing another message, one shown only to twice. he reads it and nods, taking back dabi’s phone and pocketing it.]

following an order on the message, twice turns and lifts up dabi’s body, tossing the villain over his shoulder. he quickly sends a thumbs up to hawks before starting to walk away, heading to ujiko.]

[ Dabi can't read the message yet again and he's starting to reach his limit. they shouldn't have come here, but they had to. Hawks needs help and he needs his memory back fast... if that's even going to happen. as for his sight... he's trying not to think about that too hard, because he knows what his flames are doing to him.
maybe his eyesight is just the next thing to go. he just didn't expect for it to happen so soon.
most of all he just wants to know what happened and what hawks isn't telling him. it doesn't feel like they have much time, and maybe they came back to the wrong place... but maybe that was hawks' intention from the start. he doesn't want to believe that though. not after everything. ]

and dabi did look pretty bad. hawks did too. he wished they'd both would get some help. but, hawks stayed back, and twice starts to carry his fellow villain down the hall.
momentarily, there's some heat, but it doesn't last long. dabi struggles though, attacking uselessly at his back. he pats the villain's thighs to try and comfort him.]
It'll be okay, Dabi! Let's get you healed up now! Just trust us. We're going to ruin you!
[he hums, turning from hall to hall, leading them closer to ujiko. a part of him is worried about hawks, but he has to do this. for dabi, as hawks had said in the message.]

You set his building on fire, killing the people inside of it. They showed a video of you running with him, saying you kidnapped him. Then, you set fire to three more buildings south of there, killing more people. The ones who escaped said Hawks saved them, but only about ten people were saved.

[it was pretty obvious the two were...together. twice remembers a fight they both had and he was made to play matchmaker to get them talking again. not that he really did a good job at it, but the next day, they were acting normal, so he considers that a victory.

He's confronting Re-Destro about the surveillance that was put on him. If you need me to, I'll order him captured. If he's not one of us, he shouldn't be here, right? We're on your side, not the heroes.
[ when he finally gets set down, dabi shoves himself away from the other man. he doesn't like being manhandled. jin is lucky that he's alive right now after pulling that shit.
he goes to yank some of the bandages that are hanging now from all of this, and he feels like he might puke again. if he does, he's really gonna murder jin just so he won't be embarrassed yet again.

once in the doctor's room, watching him fit around dabi, despite the villain's order, twice at least sends toga a message. given how she felt last night, she probably already didn't trust them. she was pretty smart. twice looked up to her so much!
just as the doctor comes to press to the front of dabi, lifting up his shirt in amusement, eager finger touching over the scars and new burns, twice comes closer, standing close to dabi. he eyes the doctor warily, like hawks asked of him. he never noticed how much interested the doctor was to his friend. how long has this been going on?
worriedly, he looks to dabi. is it too much? should he pull the doctor back?
the doctor makes an offhanded comment that he'll check out the hero next, but obviously needed to assist dabi first. he also says slyly that he needs dabi to fully undress for him to see the extent of his burns.]
[Dabi realizes now how stupid he's been to let himself get so distracted by anything else other than the goal he's had. He's supposed to be in charge while Shigaraki's out of it and instead he's been fucking around a whole lot with Hawks.
He has a job to do here and he's been shit at it. He wonders again if that was Hawks' plan all along.
Having Ujiko flit around him when he can't see so well is even more unnerving and he's thankful for once that Jin is here. He can feel those hands over the fresh burns and he winces inwardly, not want to show his discomfort. That's not his style.]
Just overdid it with my quirk, doc. Ain't no big deal. What I need ya to check are my eyes. And maybe my head.
[the last part he says reluctantly. He doesn't want the doctor all up in his head, but he doesn't really have a choice here.
Dabi moves back to sit at one of the lab tables, away from Ujiko's prying fingers. At least for now.]
[twice is a little bit unnerved watching the doctor, but dabi seems to handle him enough. he crawls his fingers up dabi’s chest to his jawline, taking the fire villain by the chin while inspecting him.
the eyes are looked at briefly, then dabi’s head is tilted, combing another hand through the soft hair. twice doesn’t like it, but he hasn’t touched inappropriately more than that. the doctor starts to order dabi to lay down, smirking wide, taking some enjoyment out of this.
it’s a practical chaotic mess watching the doctor go back and forth, grabbing what he needs, and starting the process of cleansing out dabi’s eyes. he makes offhand comments how pretty dabi’s eyes are, how maybe one day he can add them to his collection.
twice stands over his friend, eying every move of the doctor. he wrinkles his nose as the doctor even says how he wishes he could make a nomu from dabi.]
[ he's kinda glad it's not hawks in here watching ujiko do this. who knows how this would go. there's a reason dabi hasn't killed the freak doctor just yet. they need him far too much, even if he doesn't like this shit.
he hates how touchy-feely the old man is. he already hates doctors for everything they ignored when he was a child, and now this is a whole new added level of discomfort. the worst part is, the doctor really knows what he's doing.
dabi reluctantly lays down so he can get check out some more, but he glares hard at all the comments until his eyes are being checked. he tells ujiko to shut the hell up, but it's mostly muttered under his breath. he hopes the cleans will help, and it does a very little bit, but he has a feeling he damaged something because of the heat of his flames. hopefully it's not permanent and it'll just take some time to heal. ]

[dabi grits out, because just the very thought of that sends chills down his spine. he's seen those creatures in their oversized test tubes. he'd rather be dead.]

[the doctor comes to laugh at dabi’s reaction, but at least he’s not going too far with his ministrations. a small comment of dabi being a beautiful nomu come up, but then the doctor finishes his work with dabi’s eyes. “you need to rest them. stop staining them for now. you burnt them pretty badly. we’ll give it some time.” he says about the villain’s eyes before continuing.
the doctor perks up at dabi’s admittance and starts to comb through the hair like earlier.
“no damage on the outside. i’m interested to test if your quirk worked against your body’s defiance to heat and fried your brain. your body is working against your quirk. it’s rare to be in this position. you’re a beautiful specimen.”
the doctor hums, brushing some of dabi’s hair out of the way of the villain’s face. “maybe consider giving me a sample of your dna so i can research into you.”
and as he talks, the feather on dabi’s person moves hard and urgent, the tip sharp.]

he had seemed pleasant to twice, but toga had insisted something was up and to wait until dabi got back.
although, now, twice is lost more than ever. didn’t dabi remember setting the entire building on fire?? what about the other crimes he committed the night prior?? twice is getting more curious and worried by the second.
something is definitely wrong with dabi’s memory. hawks isn’t speaking much, but the villain is quietly noticing the extent of the burns on the hero. something happened. something serious.
hawks takes dabi’s phone though, and the hero types fast before turning the screen to face them. there’s no audio, and after reading the message, twice can understand why.]
Dabi’s room is probably being bugged with a mic and camera. Skeptic told me that Dabi ordered a camera and mic to be placed on me. I agreed to a tracking device instead. I told Dabi about it last night, and destroyed it.

[hawks looks worried for a brief second before writing another message, one shown only to twice. he reads it and nods, taking back dabi’s phone and pocketing it.]

following an order on the message, twice turns and lifts up dabi’s body, tossing the villain over his shoulder. he quickly sends a thumbs up to hawks before starting to walk away, heading to ujiko.]
